Join us in making a difference for those affected by dementia!

Join us this October for a 4km stroll between our care homes in Winchmore Hill and Southgate, starting at 1.30pm on Saturday 3 October 2026, from Anastasia Lodge. Following on from our successful previous walks, where we managed to raise an incredible £20,000 in support of the Alzheimer’s Society, we extend a warm invitation to family and friends, including children and dogs, to come and participate in this meaningful journey.

The guided walk is entirely wheelchair accessible and should last around 1 to 1.5 hours. We will pass through the charming Grovelands Park and down along Southgate High Street before concluding our walk at Autumn Gardens, where we invite you to spend the afternoon together with us enjoying refreshments and delicious cakes!

Let’s come together to make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by dementia. Please help us reach our fundraising target and make a donation to the Alzheimer’s Society.

Why are we supporting this fantastic cause?

Dementia is a devastating condition affecting millions of people around the world, and there is currently no cure. Alzheimer’s disease is the most common cause of dementia, affecting individuals and families across the UK every day.

By supporting the Alzheimer’s Society, we are helping to fund vital dementia research, campaign for change and provide essential information and support to people living with dementia and their families.

Your participation and donations will help make a meaningful difference and contribute towards a future where everyone affected by dementia receives the help, understanding and support they need.

*The duration of the walk may vary depending on the walking speed of the guests on the day.
